As the temperatures begin to drop over the next few weeks, the nights become longer and the grass becomes wetter on those sultry October mornings, you may notice an explosion of colours above your head, in the trees, and in nature around you.
Oftentimes I find myself taking the wonderful colours of Autumn for granted, but I try as much as possible to take time to pause, and really consider the bright array of oranges and reds around me, and it often influences the work that I produce. As the warmth from the summer months transfers to the shades of nature, I find the tones of my work shift too, replicating the vivid golden hues on the canvas.
