About the work
Inspired by a garden I saw at the Hampton Court Flower Show, designed by Amanda Grimes, this piece embodies the spirit of creating something beautiful from what’s already there. It reflects the unconventional use of waste products like concrete and broken brickwork, celebrating DIY and up-cycling.
I loved the underlying message that things don’t have to be perfect to be just right for you. After all, ‘perfect’ is pretty darn boring anyway!
