Chelsea

‘Chelsea’ was created in response to a visit to the Chelsea Flower Show, where a strong emphasis on naturalistic planting, wild grasses and conservation informed the direction of the work.

Interwoven, linear forms echo layered density, where structure and spontaneity exist side by side. A vivid palette runs through the piece; with a focus on the emergence of unexpected, almost fluorescent greens as colours dance and shift.

The work captures both the energy and intent of the show. It’s a celebration of nature’s resilience, and the evolving relationship between cultivation and the wild.
