Clearing space
And finding what’s next…
The light’s changing and so is my space. I’ve moved things around, stripped back, and found beauty in what was hiding at the back of a shelf. My easel is facing in a new direction and I feel like I am too.
Autumn shake-up 🍂
I’ve gone through piles of work and materials that have quietly been multiplying over time. A few rediscoveries made me smile….and yes, a couple went straight in the bin! Sometimes you just have to clear the decks to make space for what’s next.
There’s something satisfying about seeing the studio breathe again. It’s lighter; calmer; ready for what’s coming. And there’s a big piece waiting on the easel – the first brushstrokes will begin when I’m back 🖌️
Next stop – Treviso, Italy:I’m heading there for a couple of weeks to see my daughter and grandson – a little pause before the next wave of making.
👉Follow along on Instagram while I’m away for glimpses of Treviso light, colour and a few behind-the-scenes moments!
With love and warmth,
